How this Works

Every week, two or more prompts will be posted up. These prompts could be in the forms of phrases, song lyrics, images, character concepts, ect.

You, the reader, can become a participant by taking 15 minutes out of your day to respond to this prompt. You can do this by writing a short story, a poem, or simply a train of thought piece. You can draw. You can sing. You can doodle to your heart’s content. The point of this weekly exercise is to set aside a small amount of time to be creative.

If you really like your piece and would like to share it, use the hashtag #WPCTake15 when you post up your piece and maybe you’ll be featured in a future blog post. Or you can keep your work to yourself and expand on the narrative whenever you have a chance.

The key is to use this blog as a springboard for your future endeavors.

If you still feel wary about participating, perhaps checking out Beginner’s Guide to 15 Minute Prompts can help you better understand how our weekly prompts work.

We’re excited to see what you can create!
